Be on the Lookout for…

  • Please return BYOD forms asap! Students who have turned in their forms may begin bringing in devices tomorrow. They may bring them each day, but should keep them in their backpacks until instructed otherwise.
  • Thank you to all who have signed up for the Spring Student Led Conferences. If you have not, or need to check your time, please visit the link asap!
  • MULTIPLICATION QUIZZES RESUME THURSDAY THIS WEEK!! Students have taken their 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11’s and 12’s  Multiplication Sundae quizzes. Thursday will be makeups for ANY quiz students want to make up. These are timed on a visible stopwatch for student goals only, not countdown as a “it has to be done by this time” manner. Students should be able to answer the 16 questions in under 2 minutes to be considered “fluent”. Students will record their time on the back of their quiz, and their pieces earned on the sundae picture that is housed inside a plastic sheet in their agenda. You can expect a quiz usually Tues and Thurs with makeups on Fri for those who do not pass.
  • The Multiplication Ice Cream Sundae party will be Friday, May 19th. Stay tuned for a signup for volunteer scoopers, and items you can donate to help celebrate the students hard work!
  • April 25: PTA Meeting at 6:30 followed by Owl Chorus Concert
  • April 28th is Family Fun Night @ 6:30! Outdoor Movie, Zaxby’s food, Popcorn, and Mr. Softie, the ice cream truck!
  • Mark Your Calendars- EOG Dates! These are right before and right after Memorial Day, which I know is inconvenient but unavoidable this year. It is SOOOOOOO important your child is present for the test so they can take it with ME, in THEIR classroom, in an environment they are familiar with. If they are late or absent, these conditions cannot be guaranteed. Friday, May 26th Grade 3 Reading and Grade 5 Science Tuesday, May 30th Grade 3 Math & Grade 4 Reading word- finish strong
